sand sharks aren’t known to be aggressive towards humans,

and his mom was always nice to the cashier,

and 5 children die every day from child abuse.

 

the larger embryos will eat the smaller, weaker ones,

and the scolding water poured out like dragon’s fire;

9 out of 10 abuses are not reported.

 

the surviving pups flee immediately,

and he never looks into mommy’s empty eyes,

and  when they show up in foster homes it doesn’t stop.

 

once they grow big, they’ll do it too,

and he’ll never know a life without it,

 

so he’ll be 1 of the 6 abused who abuse.
